Expert Nutritional Guidance

We translate complex health science into clear, actionable steps, so you know exactly what to focus on and why. Then we build a structured plan you can sustain or return to week to week.

No extremes. No shame. No relying on willpower alone. Just realistic steps, an understanding of how the brain can work against you, and practical systems that support steady progress.

About waterhousedietetics.com.au

Evan Waterhouse - APD

I became a dietitian because I have seen what happens when health slowly drifts off course.

Diabetes runs in my family. I have watched people deal with complications that were never simply about willpower or bad choices, but about genetics, unclear guidance, and not being supported early enough with practical, realistic advice. I have seen how confusing and overwhelming health decisions can become when the information is noisy or poorly explained.

I also know, personally, how quickly health can change.

Experiencing a major health event myself reshaped the way I think about resilience, consistency, and what “healthy” actually looks like when life is unpredictable. It reinforced something I already suspected: progress has very little to do with extremes, and almost everything to do with clarity.

Those experiences did not make me dramatic about health. They made me realistic.

They taught me that progress is not built on fear or rigid rules. It is built on understanding what matters, removing unnecessary noise, and taking steady, practical steps that hold up under stress.

I am also, admittedly, a bit of a science nerd. I read the literature. I enjoy understanding mechanisms. I like knowing why something works, not just that it works. But knowledge only becomes useful when it is translated into something you can actually apply to your life.

As an Accredited Practising Dietitian, I combine clinical evidence with a deep respect for how difficult change can be. My role is not to dillute your efforts to fight too many battles at once. It is to clarify, structure, and guide. To explain complex science in plain language. To help you understand what is happening in your body and what genuinely deserves your attention.

Health does not require perfection. It requires direction. Clear priorities. Realistic steps. A process you can return to, even after a difficult week.

That is how lasting change is built.
